It is compulsory to purchase a Green Slip in order to legally register your vehicle in NSW with the Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA). There are strict penalties for those who drive an unregistered vehicle.
CTP insurance only provides cover for personal injury to others who are injured by the at fault driver. If you are the at fault driver, you are not covered by CTP Insurance.
CTP Insurance DOES NOT provide cover to property - either your own or that of others - which may be damaged in the event of a motor vehicle accident.
